Sneak peek at the problem statements

Participants must choose any one of the following challenges:

Challenge 1:

Develop an application that converts stories (700-1500 words) into captivating videos that enhance children's engagement and learning.

Key Features & Use Cases:

  • Voice-over narration: Choose between AI-generated or user-uploaded voices.

  • Background music: Set the right tone for each story.

  • Captions: Sync story text with narration to encourage reading.

  • Animation & images: Visualise key moments through animations and relevant graphics.

The final output can be one or more videos, or an editable version for further customization.

Challenge 2:

AI-powered teaching assistant aimed at supporting teachers and parents in educating children aged 4 to 11. Develop an application that automates routine tasks, generates educational content, and offers interactive learning tools, allowing tutors and parents to focus on personalised learning.

Key features & Use Cases:

  • Assignment Creation: Analyse images of assignments to generate new, similar-level tasks, ensuring variety and reinforcing concepts.

  • Answer Removal for Reuse: Erase answers from completed assignments to make materials ready for reuse, providing fresh practice opportunities.

  • Links to Educational Videos: Suggest relevant videos to help explain complex concepts in subjects like science and maths.

  • Interactive Games and Quizzes: Create engaging quizzes and games from traditional worksheets, turning static exercises into dynamic activities.

Think of additional use cases for automating tasks or generating exercises that could benefit kids. The app may include textual, audio, or video features.
